We are thrilled to announce one of our most requested features: Dynamic Profit Tracking directly inside your TruckFleet Pro dashboard.
As a fleet owner, getting paid is only half the battle. To run a successful business, you need to know exactly how much of that payment is actually profit. Previously, fleet owners had to rely on separate spreadsheets, mental math, or bulky accounting software to calculate their net earnings after paying for diesel, toll gates, and driver fees.
Now, whenever you click "Mark Payment as Received" on a completed trip, you will be guided through a simple, 4-step wizard. The system will ask you to quickly input the exact amounts spent on Fuel, Tolls, and Driver fees.
Our system instantly processes these numbers, deducts them from your total negotiated trip amount, and generates a permanent "Expenses & Profit Tracker" card on that trip's detail page. You can instantly see your exact profit (highlighted in green) or loss (highlighted in red).
In the coming months, we will be rolling out fleet-wide analytics, allowing you to see your aggregate profit margins across all trucks in your fleet over a 30-day, 90-day, or yearly period. Stay tuned!
